The lower part of the LP supercell west of Pampa is visible under an inflow cloud band. Part of this cloud band appears to be lifting over a forward flank cold pool left by the shriveling LP. This storm is dying.

The demise of the LP supercell continues unabated. I found it amazing that the forward flank cloud band continues to survive though it is being swept northward more rapidly by the winds now that the precipitation core is dying. These pictures were shot

The anvil is the only remaining part reminding us that convection once existed near Pampa, TX. But the forward flank cloud band exhibited Kelvin Helmholtz wave action making for a pretty scene to the north
