This is day 2 after the first day the WFO started operations at the NWC. Patrick Burke's logging onto the first AWIPS terminal turned on. There's only radar data coming in but it's a good start. Workers are also installing the steel framework for the SPC operations desks. SPC chose a square configuration instead. They'll be moving operations in early September. They'll be the last to move.
