Musical scores for the Introduction and the Hurricane Katrina chapter
The sky is the biggest stage on earth, and that's why Kinney has been chasing storms throughout the Great Plains every spring since 1995, spending 4 to 6 weeks hunting supercell thunderstorms.  In the off season, he quells his passion for the hunt by working on what he calls "The Skydance Project." In essence, it's the synchronization of sky images to music, be they benign and full of soothing beauty, or menacing and
bursting with unbridled fury.  His musical selections range from classical to hard rock.  He also enjoys lecturing on the various aspects of chasing and severe storms.

Musical scores for the March 21 and April 10 chapters
Melissa is currently a senior at the University of Oklahoma studying meteorology.  Being from Fort Worth, Texas, she has been an avid weather watcher for years and recently began chasing in the spring of 2003.  While at OU, Melissa has worked as an undergraduate research assistant at NSSL, participated in two field experiments (TELEX and Joint Urban 2003), and studied in Melbourne, Australia.  Her other passion is Music, and she has been writing musinc since the age of 7.
Mark Peregrine
Musical score for the June 4 chapter
Mark Peregrine has been involved in the entertainment business for over 20 years. Currently, he coordinates exhibition races and autograph sessions for many of the top NASCAR Drivers in the world through Patrum Motor Racing Properties. Mark owns and operates a sound company in Greensboro, North Carolina and has had the privilege of working with and writing for many performers through the years. Recently, he wrote and recorded 4 songs for Maddie and Nancy Posner (“It’s Just Me”) at Unique Studios In New York City. The project included The Spin Doctors' Mark White and many notable New York musicians. Maddie and Nancy are currently members of former Deep Purple guitarist Ritchie Blackmore’s band. Mark has also been involved with some part time video stringing for “The Weather Channel” and chasing the occasional Piedmont supercell during the past 4 years.
Meteorological consultant for April 21 and June 4 chapters
Glen Romine's budding interest in meteorology began while growing up in heart of tornado alley. Witnessing several unique weather events fueled an ever growing desire to learn more about the mysterious behavior of storms. Glen is currently a doctoral candidate at the University of Illinois gleaning supercell characteristics from polarimetric radar observations. He also has a strong interest in severe storm forecasting and has chased since 1997. Beyond weather, Glen enjoys photography, gardening and spending quality time with his wife and daughter.
Gary Woodall
Narrator and meteorological consultant for the Hurricane Katrina chapter
Gary Woodall is the Warning Coordination Meteorologist at the National Weather Service Forecast Office in Fort Worth, Texas. Gary has worked for the NWS since 1988, serving at the offices in Midland, Lubbock, the Southern Region Headquarters in Fort Worth, and his current office. Hazardous weather preparedness and spotter training have been points of emphasis throughout Gary’s career. He was a leader in developing the Basic and Advanced Spotter Field Guides during the early and mid 1990’s. He worked with Martin Lisius and Al Moller to produce the “StormWatch” spotter training video in 1995. He has delivered modules on storm spotter recruiting and training at several WCM introductory courses. In 2004, Gary presented the “Super Storm Spotter” training session at the Texas Severe Storms Association’s annual meeting. Gary is an amateur radio operator, KD5WUT (Woodall Under Tornado?) and can sometimes be found roaming the southern and central plains when the NWS “official duties” don’t call.
